The Minicensus is one of the activities which the Czech Statistical Office uses to increase the statistical literacy of children. It presents statistics to children as an attractive tool for describing and learning about everyday life.

According to the results of the Mini-Census in 2012, most children would take a friend to a desert island. Friends thus outperformed family members by 0.1%.
