Gender: Education
All data on education in this chapter (with the exception of educational attainment of women and men by age groups in the population of the CR – the source of data is LFSS) are taken from the database of the Institute for Information on Education (IIE CR). Data on nursery, basic, secondary, higher professional and special schools, schools established in correctional facilities and data on teachers at universities are obtained from comprehensive surveys at schools; data on students, new enrolees and graduates from universities are from the register of university students.
In age groups 15-24 and 24-34 are shares of people with university education higher by women than by men. Other situation is from age of 35. This gap is most visible in age group 65+.
