The means of personal data processing and their protection

Most of the processing takes place by means of computer technology; therefore we will usually process your personal data on secure computer systems and applications. Processing of documents in filing cabinets, of course, is not out of the question.

The CZSO processes personal data obtained from data subjects themselves, for example in the context of the performance of the State Statistical Service, using web or application forms, e-mail, participating in surveys or when exercising their rights or dealing with complaints or questions, and only for the purpose for which they were given to the Controller, e.g. to create a statistical output or to answer a question. When fulfilling our legal obligations and authorisations, we may, particularly for statistical purposes, obtain data also from administrative data sources and other information systems of public authorities.

All personal data are secured using standard procedures and technologies. We use such security measures that can be reasonably required from the Controller in order to prevent an unauthorised access to the provided personal data in the context of the current state of technology. Personal data about you we process may be processed both automatically and manually in compliance with all security principles for the management and processing of personal data.
