1. Scope of application

This Privacy Policy applies to the use of the CZSO mobile application (the "Application") and the services it provides. Use of the application requires us to process your personal data when you access certain services.

3. Information on the processing of your personal data

3.1 Information collected during downloads

When you download an app, some basic information is provided to the app store of your choice (Google Play or Apple App Store). This information includes your username, email address, customer account number, download time and individual device identification number. As this data is processed exclusively through the respective app store, the way it is processed is beyond our control. When you first download the app, we also ask you to indicate the country in which you intend to use it so that we can offer your services in the relevant language. Without this information, we will not be able to offer you access to the app in your own language.
 

3.2 Information collected automatically

Some information is collected automatically when the application is used. This includes internal device ID, operating system version and language, resolution. We do not store this data, but it is automatically processed by the application to enable you to use the application and its associated features, monitor the performance characteristics of the application, and prevent and eliminate malfunctions. The legal basis for the processing of personal data for the above purpose is Article 6(1)(f) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, on data protection.

3.3 Information collected when using the application

When using the app, other technical data relating to you is processed. This data includes personal data and is used by us for the following purposes:

• Error reports and performance data. We collect application performance data and any related issues. This data helps us diagnose problems and improve the application and provide solutions. Error reports may include data such as the type or severity of the problem, details of the software or hardware associated with the error, the contents of files used when the error occurred, and data relating to other software on your device available through the platforms where it is offered (Google Play, App Store)

• Location Services
  During use, the app may ask you to access your location that it does not share outside the app. The app will ask you for this permission. This data is only used to determine your location when using the "Municipality Statistics" feature. The CZSO does not store or share this data with any third party. You may or may not grant permission for location collection to the app, or you may revoke it at any time in the system settings.

4. Sharing your personal data with third parties

Your personal information will not be shared with third parties. The only exceptions to this are in the following cases:

5. Safety

The data transfer between the servers and the mobile device uses the secure encrypted HTTPS protocol. The servers are secured and regularly updated.

6. Automated individual decision-making

We do not use any automated processing systems for specific decision-making.
 

7. Data retention period

Data is deleted when it is no longer needed to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected. Log files containing personal data are generally deleted after 14 days at the latest. Further storage is possible in the case of so-called error logs, which allow us to correct errors. These error logs are deleted after 14 days at the latest.
 

8. Possibility to object

Collecting data for the functionality of the app and storing the data with logs are essential for the proper functioning of this mobile app. As a result, there is no possibility for the user to object.
 

9. Changes to this privacy policy

The current version of this Privacy Policy is always available on this page and in the app under the Information menu item.
