CZSO published data on fertility from the Census 2021

The CZSO published data on the number of children born alive to women based on the Census 2021 results. The number of children born alive to women up to the date of the Census was collected for all women aged 15 and over.

Women with two children make up the largest part of the population – more than 1.9 million, with nearly 1 million childless women.

The published results, including tables and charts to the level of regions, are available at www.scitani.cz, for more detailed data go to Public Database. Data is available for all territorial units up to the level of municipalities and districts.
