35th Meeting of the Czech Statistical Council
The Czech Statistical Council met in Prague on 26 March 2010. On the meeting, it dealt with the Final report comparing activities of the Czech Statistical Office and Statistics Austria. Thus work, which started in June 2008 and argumentation of which helped also during realization of 2008 Personnel audit, was completed. The second point of the Council meeting agenda was using of statistical data for other than statistical purposes and the third point was ongoing information on preparation of the 2011 Population and Housing Census.
The Council was also informed by Jiří Křovák, the First Vice-President of the CZSO charged with representation of the President of the CZSO, that the Czech Statistical Office won in the 2009 “Czech National Quality Award” competition. The Czech Statistical Office thus obtained the right to call itself “2009 Excellence Organization”, namely for applying of the EFQM Excellence Model.
