Liberec

Liberec is the centre of the Liberec Region. There live more than one hundred thousand inhabitants in the city and it is the fifth largest city in the Czech Republic. It is located on the north of the country, in the valley between the Jizera Mountains and Lužice Mountains. It is an important centre of sports, especially winter sports.

The tournament venue is the premises of the Technical University of Liberec - http://www.tul.cz/en/

It is a perfect location for organising a volleyball tournament - all facilities for accommodation, sport, and board are concentrated in a single locality.

• Accommodation

Accommodation shall be arranged in the university dormitories, which consist of six large buildings. We will hire one of them - block E. Therefore the accommodation will be quite simple but comfortable enough. Apartments consist of two double rooms, a bathroom (shower), a toilet, and a simple kitchen equipped with a refrigerator. Free parking place in front of the building. No smoking or other use of tobacco products (including, but not limited to cigarettes, pipes, cigars) is permitted in any part of the university buildings (accommodation, sport hall, canteen).
