Ticket Sales
Tickets can be purchased at the yellow and red ticket vending machines, which are located at the entrance to the metro stations, at the bus and tram stops or at the information centres of the Prague Public Transport Company. When using the vending machines, we advice visitors to have some Czech coins ready to use. There are several types of tickets with limited transfer validity. It is possible though to use the same ticket for all types of public transport (except for the limited tickets).

For single ticket for the tram or bus you will only need the ticket with limited transfer options (CZK 18). If you want to change the means of transport and your route will take more than 30 minutes, you need to buy the basic ticket (CZK 26). For comfortable travel throughout Prague for one day it is useful to buy a one-day ticket (CZK 100). Remember that for big luggage (sizes 25×45×70 cm) you need to get an additional ticket for luggage transport (CZK 13). More information
