Instructions to chairpersons and presenters
Every session generally lasts 90 minutes and includes 3 – 5 presentations. Out of that, 72 - 75 minutes are for presentations and 15 - 18 minutes for discussion.
- If there are 3 presentations in the session, each presentation is given 25 minutes, 15 minutes are left for discussion.
- If there are 4 presentations in the session, each presentation is given 18 minutes, 18 minutes are left for discussion.
- If there are 5 presentations in the session, each presentation is given 15 minutes, 15 minutes are left for discussion.
Both chairpersons and presenters are asked strictly to stick to the given time in order to enable participants to move from one session to another. Chairpersons are encouraged to signal presenters about their remaining time and to ensure smooth development of sessions. |
