Ticket Sales
Tickets can be purchased at the yellow and red ticket vending machines, which are located at the entrance to the metro stations, at the bus and tram stops or at the information centres of the Prague Public Transport Company.
When using the vending machines, we advice visitors to have some Czech coins ready to use. It is possible though to use the same ticket for all types of public transport (except for the limited tickets).

For short travel (less than 30 minutes) you will only need the Short-term ticket (CZK 24). If you want to change the means of transport and your route will take more time, you need to buy the Basic ticket (CZK 32). For comfortable travel throughout Prague for one day it is useful to buy a one-day ticket (CZK 110). Remember that for big luggage (sizes 25×45×70 cm) you need to get an additional ticket for luggage transport (CZK 16).
