16.8 million Census forms filled in

In total, 16.8 million filled-in Census forms were collected as at 2 May 2011 during the 2011 Population and Housing Census. Collection of “Census Forms – Persons”, “Census Forms – Dwellings”, and “Census Forms – Buildings” thus has been virtually completed. Most of the forms were delivered by post (61.5%). The Czech Statistical Office received 25.7% forms that were filled in electronically; 12.8% forms were collected by Census commissioners in person.
