What is a cookie?
Cookies are small data files, which are stored in a special browser subfolder on a computer of the user. They are necessary for some functions of the website, such as registration and they are often used also to keep track of user movements within the site. Information stored in the cookie may relate to behaviour of the website visitor while going through the website or it can contain a unique identification tag, so that the website can recognize the visitor at his next visit. Using of cookies can be refused in most of the Internet browsers.
How the CZSO uses cookie files (cookies)
Provided that a visitor of the website does not agree to use the service provided by cookies, he can follow recommendations in the “Help” bookmark of his Internet browser and thus deactivate storing of all cookie files on his computer.
Besides permanent deactivation of storing of cookies it is possible to manually delete these files from a computer (usually using the following combination of keys: CTRL + SHIFT + Delete) after each visit of the website.
With regards to advantages provided by cookies, however, we recommend using of cookies.
