Session 1 – Parametric methods for cycle analysis. Application with Programme GAP. Programme GAP is a software for estimating cycles in GDP/unemployment. Mr. Christophe Planas is an author of programme GAP, which he developed together with his colleague, Mr. Alessandro Rossi. This programme was developed along the specifications of the Directorate General Economy and Financial Affairs of the European Commission. Mr. Planas will give a lecture, where he will introduce a programme GAP with some illustrations.

Session 2 – Non-parametric methods for business cycle analysis in large scale. Application with programme BUSY. Introduction into BUSY programme with some illustrations.
