The Government proposed to appoint Marek Rojíček President of the CZSO

The Government of the Czech Republic proposed today to appoint Marek Rojíček a new President of the Czech Statistical Office. The President of the Czech Republic will decide about his appointment.
Marek Rojíček is a Vice-President of the CZSO from April 2014. However, he works at the CZSO since 2001 already. Within his professional activities he specialised on the national accounts domain; he was a director of the Macroeconomic Statistics Section for over seven years. He participates in teaching of macroeconomic analysis at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Economics, Prague and at the University of Economics and Management. He is an author or co-author of many scientific papers, professional articles, educational texts, and research studies.
