Targets of the project

The main target of the Redesign of the Statistical Information System following the implementation of eGovernment in the CR project is to further reduce burden of respondents, namely via higher use of electronic devices, which should better motivate respondents when providing their data.  

Our goal is also to enhance quality and accessibility of created statistical information for all users. Especially the following will lead to achievement of the aforementioned goals: larger use of registers and administrative data of central bodies of the state administration, ensuring of quality and modern way of electronic communication, and a new way of work during processing and modelling of all acquired data.

It is a specific goal of the project to integrate procedures, tools, and techniques in the entire process of creation of statistical information with the aim to increase overall effectiveness of activities of the CZSO.

In order to reach the above-mentioned effects, the project is focused on changes of tools of internal production processes enabling increasing of administrative data sources utilization, using of information from information systems of businesses to collect statistical data, optimization of compilation of statistical information within the CZSO, creation of an integrated model of statistical tasks and integration of mathematical and statistical methods and procedures.

As for users of statistical information, the output is mainly that quality and accessibility of statistical information will improve.
