• EU Member States provide the Commission (Eurostat) with reports on the quality of data transmitted on the base of Article 12 – Statistical quality of the Regulation (EC) No 223/2009 on European statistics (which was amended by Regulation (EU) No 2015/759).

  Industrial producer prices

  Specific quality requirements are laid down in sectoral legislation, namely in Regulation (EU) 2019/2152 on European business statistics, and Regulation (EC) No 1165/98 concerning short-term statistics.

  The report on quality mentioned bellow is provided regularly every year.

  Construction prices

  Specific quality requirements are laid down in sectoral legislation, namely in the Regulation (EU) 2019/2152 on European business statistics.

  Since 2021 reference year the report on quality replaces the previous two reports Construction Producer Prices and Construction costs (sts_cons_pri and sts_copi_q). Information on the indices for wage and material costs of construction production are not included because they are no longer required.

  Electricity and gas prices

  Specific quality requirements are laid down in sectoral legislation, namely in the Regulation (EU) 2016/1952 on European statistics on natural gas and electricity prices, and Commission implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/803 concerning the technical requirements regarding the content of quality reports on European statistics on natural gas and electricity.

  The reports on quality are provided every three years. Next reports will be provided in 2025 for the reference period 2024.

  Service producer prices

  Specific quality requirements are laid down in sectoral legislation, namely in the Regulation (EU) 2019/2152 on European business statistics and the Regulation (EC) No 1165/98 concerning short-term statistics.
