Besides the right to be fully informed about the processing of your personal data, you have also the following rights as a data subject:

The right of access – information about which personal data of yours we process and how, to whom we transmit them, etc. If you exercise your right of access, we will provide you with an individualized overview of the personal data we process about you.

The right of rectification – if you find out we process inaccurate data about you, you have the right to request rectification of your personal data.

The right to erasure – if you think we process your personal data without authorisation, you have the right to request their erasure. Please note that personal data we process about you for the purpose of:

• fulfilling our legal obligation;
• performance of a contract we concluded with you; 
• determination, exercise or defence of legal claims; or
• archiving, scientific or historical research or for statistical purposes,

cannot be erased even if you request it.

The right to restriction of processing – when exercising this right, processing of concerned personal data is temporarily restricted. We will restrict the processing of personal data in the following cases:

• if you deny the accuracy of personal data before it is decided whether it is correct or not;
• should we process your personal data without sufficient legal basis and you request restriction of their processing instead of the erasure;
• if we no longer need your personal data for the above-stated purposes of processing but you require them for the determination, exercise or defence of your legal claims; or
• if you object to the processing of personal data.

We are obliged to restrict the processing of concerned personal data for the period of the evaluation of the legitimacy of the raised objection.

The right to object to the processing – if the legal basis for the processing of your personal data is our legitimate interest or the processing is necessary for the CZSO’s performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority, you can object to such processing for reasons concerning your specific situation. In such case, we won’t further process your personal data for the given purpose, unless we prove sufficiently legitimate reasons for the processing which would override your interests, rights or freedoms or we would need them for the determination, exercise and defence of legal claims.

The right to personal data portability – if the legal basis of the processing of your personal data is a consent or the performance of a contract and the processing is automatic, you can ask for transmitting your personal data. We will provide you with the personal data which concern you and that you have provided to us, in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.

The right to withdraw the consent – you can withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data at any time. However, withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent before its withdrawal. Withdrawing the consent also does not affect any potential contractual relationship between us.

The right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority – you can lodge a complaint at the Office for Personal Data Protection with the headquarters at Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, phone number: (+420) 234 665 111 (exchange). The Office for Personal Data Protection operates the website: www.uoou.cz where you can find more information on when and how the Office can help you.

In case we obtain a request for exercising of the aforementioned rights, we will inform the applicant about the result and adopted measures without unnecessary delay and in any case within one month since the receipt of the request. If necessary and with regards to the complexity and the number of requests, the period may be prolonged by another two months.

In certain cases that are determined by the GDPR the CZSO is not obliged to fully comply with or to partly comply with the request. This will apply mainly when a request is obviously unjustified or inadequate, especially due to repetition. In those cases we can impose an adequate fee taking into account administrative costs related to the provision of requested information or to performance of actions requested, or we can refuse to comply with the request.

Information that a data subject has exercised his or her rights at the CZSO and information about how the CZSO complied with the request is saved for an adequate period of time (4 years) so that we are able to document that fact, for statistical purposes, enhancement of our services, and protection of our rights.
