International Conference Statistics: Investment in the Future 2

 

 

On account of very successful international conference Statistics: Investment in the Future which was held on the occasion of the 85th anniversary of Czech official statistics on 6-7 September 2004 we would like to announce you that international statistical conference, Statistics: Investment in the Future 2 will be held by the Czech Statistical Office, the Czech National Bank and the Prague University of Economics on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of Czech official statistics on 14–15 September 2009 in Prague.

The conference Statistics: Investment in the Future 2 is being prepared in cooperation of people representing the Czech official statistics, the bank sector, and the academic sphere and is aimed to widen the mutual dialogue of producers and users of statistics in this area. The conference is also expected to make a contribution to the exchange of findings, observations and experience concerning the provision of statistical data for fulfilling the user’s needs and the widest possible use of statistics for the current demographic development of society on the one hand and the creation of adequate conditions for future generations on the other hand.

The conference is held under the auspices of Mr. Václav Klaus, President of the Czech Republic.

The conference Statistics: Investment in the future 2 will take place in Prague, capital city of the Czech Republic. Prague is considered to be one of the most beautiful cities in Europe.
