Extension of published statistics on trade

The Czech Statistical Office (CZSO) has been publishing monthly the sales indices in retail trade except of motor vehicles and motorcycles (CZ-NACE 47) and the sales indices in wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles (CZ-NACE 45) already since 2000. Pursuant to the Regulation (EU) 2019/2152 on European business statistics, which came into force this year, monthly data on the development of sales will be extended by the sales index for wholesale trade (CZ-NACE 46) and also by the sales index for the whole trade (CZ-NACE section G). The data will be published in the Public Database of the CZSO.
