Section 7

Scopes of Government Departments

  1. Ministries carry out the State Statistical Service in the scope ensuing from the Programme of Statistical Surveys and in the scope ensuing from statistical surveys performed by ministries outside the Programme of Statistical Surveys.
  2. The Czech Statistical Office involves ministries into the Programme of Statistical Surveys by upon agreements with respective ministry.
  3. Ministries may perform statistical surveys outside the Programme of Statistical Surveys only within their scope of activity and after prior negotiations with the Czech Statistical Office.
