Eurostat regional yearbook 2011 offers a wealth of information on life in the European regions in the 27 Member States of the European Union and in the candidate countries and EFTA countries. The texts are written by specialists in the different statistical domains and are accompanied by statistical maps, figures and tables on each subject. The publication is available in German, English and French.

Portrait of the EU Regions
The "Portrait of the Regions" website seeks to provide an informative and comparable overview of Europe´s regional diversity. Outputs are based on the Eurostat's 2003/2004 data collection.
 
Urban audit
The Urban Audit collects information on the living conditions in 258 large and medium-sized cities within the European Union and the candidate countries (EU27).
One of the main goals of the Urban Audit is to allow mayors and other locally elected officials to compare their city directly with other cities in Europe. Such comparisons can facilitate the exchange of experience and improve the quality of local urban policies.
