The Use of Administrative Data Sources
(1) Authorities performing the State Statistical Service use data acquired or collected by Ministries and other administrative authorities under special Acts
4. Ministries and other administrative authorities are bound to provide them with the necessary data on their request on time and free of charge unless otherwise stated by this Act.
(2) The Czech Statistical Office is entitled to require
a) among data acquired in tax proceedings
4a individual data from tax returns and accounting statements of natural and legal persons provided they are processed by revenue authorities and centrally available in electronic form for the needs of compiling national accounts in compliance with the European System of National and Regional Accounts in the Community
4b and for the needs of maintaining Statistical Registers
4c,
b) among data acquired in customs procedure
5 concerning undergoing customs-approved treatment or use data defined by a directly applicable regulation of the European Communities
4d,
c) among data acquired in the social security system
5d:
1. business name, residence of legal persons, address of permanent residence and place of entrepreneurial activity if different from address of permanent residence of natural persons carrying on trade, and identification of the payer of social security contributions and state employment policy contributions who is a legal person, a government department or an own-account worker; identification is an Identification Number or, if it applies to natural persons, birth registration number when Identification Number has not been assigned or is not recorded in the social security system.
2. number of actual persons for whom the employer has the duty to pay social security contributions and state employment policy contributions.
(3) For statistical purposes and the maintaining of Statistical Registers, territorial governments shall provide the Czech Statistical Office with data from their own information systems on request and free of charge. Ministries performing the State Statistical Service are entitled to require data for statistical purposes free of charge from territorial governments only after prior consent given by the Czech Statistical Office.
(4) The Czech Statistical Office uses individual data on entities classified to the Public Institutions Sector for statistical purposes relating to the calculations of deficit and debt and for compilation of quarterly and annual non-financial and financial accounts of this sector as required by the European Communities

(5) Data provided to the Czech Statistical Office under paragraphs 1 to 3 shall be transmitted in a form not allowing Direct Identification of the natural or legal person concerned, unless the use of the data is impeded.
(6) Data and information systems serving different uses may be linked for statistical purposes.
(7) Ministries and other administrative authorities must inform the Czech Statistical Office about which data they acquire under special Acts
