§ 21 Identification Number of a Business
§ 21
Identification Number of a Business
(1) An Identification Number is used for unambiguous identification of a business and is only of recording importance
*. The manner of its assignment is stipulated by the Czech Statistical Office.
(2) An Identification Number is assigned to each business. The Identification Number once assigned to a particular business shall not be assigned to any other business, not even if the business to which it had been assigned no longer exists; this does not apply to instances of conversion of a business by law or change of legal form of a company

(3) Each business is assigned only one Identification Number. A business assigned an Identification Number in connection with one entrepreneurial activity and planning to carry out another shall indicate its Identification Number in any official contact with the body authorised to issue the license for carrying out this other activity.
(4) Unambiguous identification of a detached establishment or other organisational part with a similar status
9g is made by the Identification Number of the business whose part it is, to which a digit in brackets is attached indicating the sequence number of this establishment in the Company Register.
