Working procedure with the CD-ROM

Insert the CD-ROM into a CD drive of your PC.
This should automatically start the CD-ROM if you are using Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000, NT or XP.
If the CD-ROM does not start automatically, run the "index.htm" file in the root directory of the CD-ROM.

The initial menu, which you started, offers data files in Excel and PDF formats. Choose the one you prefer, please.

Minimal SW requirements:
WIN95 and higher
Internet Explorer 4.0 and higher or Netscape Navigator 4.5 and higher (we recommend IE 5.0, in menu View-Fonts-Medium)

Software is available in SOFTWARE/ subdirectory.
Start the installation by following link "Software" on the main page or by running the "read_me.htm" file in SOFTWARE/ subdirectory.
If Acrobat Reader is not installed in your PC and you still do not want to install it, simply run the "AcroRD32.exe" file in AcroRD32/ subdirectory.

Minimal HW requirements:
486 processor and higher
Desktop resolution 800x600 pixel (we recommend 1024x768 pixel)
16MB RAM
CD-ROM drive

Text files are in HTML format ("*.htm")
Data files are in Excel 95, Excel 2000 ("*.xls").
The whole Yearbook is also available in PDF format.

The data required for your own needs can be copied as separate files by browsing through individual chapters with different topics or directly from the subdirectories:
DATA
DATA/PDF
The Excel 95 ("*.xls) files in subdirectories named after the chapters are named after the chapters (first two digits of the filename) and after the specific tables (the other two digits).
