Objective: Development of a method for the qualified determining of the value of non-residential buildings in the sector of government institutions with regard to NACE, type, age and condition of the buildings.

The basis for the calculation is data obtained during an extraordinary survey. The collected data for each building provides information about the way the building is used, its size (surrounded area, number of above-ground and underground floors, size of the area), age of the construction material of load-bearing walls. A subjective assessment of the current status of the building is also available. The results of the survey also provide information about the price of the building (net and gross), in the valuation available to the addressed unit (account price, historical price, etc.).

The data will be used to fulfill the obligations arising from Articles 1 and 3 of Regulation (EC) No. 549/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 May 2013 on the European System of National and Regional Accounts in the European Union, from Article 8 of Council Regulation (EU) No. 479/2009 of 25 May 2009 about the use of the Protocol on the Excessive Deficit Procedure, annexed to the Treaty establishing the European Community, for the purposes of calculating macroeconomic indicators of government financial statistics, compilation government national accounts, for the needs of international organizations, especially the European Commission (Eurostat).
