• EU Member States provide the Commission (Eurostat) with reports on the quality of data transmitted on the base of Article 12 – Statistical quality of the Regulation (EC) No 223/2009 on European statistics (which was amended by Regulation (EU) No 2015/759).

• 
  Harmonised index of consumer prices (HICP)

  Specific quality requirements are laid down in sectoral legislation, namely in the Regulation (EU) 2016/792 on harmonised indices of consumer prices and the house price index, and in the implementing regulation (EU) 2020/1148 laying down the methodological and technical specifications as regards harmonised indices of consumer prices and the house price index.

  Quality report is updated annually, Compliance Monitoring Report decennially. See also other methodology documents below.
